The attacks followed a rocket firing from Lebanese territory against northern Israel. The Iran-backed militia Hezbollah was reported to be behind the rocket launchings, according to Israel, which the movement has denied.
At least one person has been killed in Sunday's drone attack on a car in the town of Aita al-Shaab, reports Lebanon's Health Department. Attacks have also been carried out against three locations in southern Lebanon near the border with Israel.
A ceasefire agreement was reached in November, with recurring smaller attacks carried out since then – but not to the extent that occurred on Saturday.
