The family consisted of four children and their parents, all of whom died when their residence in the city of Gaza was attacked, according to rescue personnel and the area's civil defense.
In total, the remains of 22 people are said to have been taken care of during the early Thursday hours. Nine of them were killed in an attack on a former police station in the Jabalia area in the north, according to hospital information. Many are also said to have been injured there.
The ongoing war broke out after the terrorist-listed Hamas, which governs in Gaza, carried out a comprehensive attack on Israel on October 7, 2023. On March 18, Israel broke a ceasefire that had been in effect for nearly two months.
