Several buildings have been destroyed, writes the Lebanese newspaper L'Orient-Le Jour, which also publishes pictures of burned-out houses. According to the state news agency NNA, a newlywed woman was killed and others were injured.

The Israeli military is also accusing the Iran-backed Shiite militia Hezbollah of firing drones at Israeli soldiers in the Ali Taher area on Thursday night, according to a post on Telegram.

A total of more than 4,300 people have been killed in Lebanon since March, when Israel carried out extensive airstrikes and a ground invasion after Hezbollah fired rockets at Israel in response to the Israeli-American war against Iran.

At the end of June, a US-negotiated framework agreement was signed to achieve peace between the neighboring countries, but the attacks have continued.
