Israeli military planes have attacked the airport in Yemeni capital Sana.
Sana has been under Huthi movement control for a long time, as well as a large part of Yemen. The Iran-backed movement carried out new attacks against Israel on Tuesday, with two projectiles being shot down.
Israel's Foreign Minister Israel Katz confirms the attacks and claims they were targeted at "terror targets". It is the second time within a month that the airport has been attacked.
"It is a clear message and according to our line: Whoever shoots at the state of Israel will pay a high price", the minister announces.
The Huthi movement has been attacking Israel and Israeli targets at sea off Yemen since the outbreak of war in Gaza in the autumn of 2023 and describes the attacks as solidarity actions with the Palestinians.
