"Sirens are being heard in several areas around the country after missiles fired from Iran were identified heading towards Israel," the Israeli military said in a statement.
The Air Force is working to "counter and eliminate threats where necessary," the statement said.
There are also reports of explosions being heard in Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar on Sunday morning, according to AFP journalists on site.
Israel's emergency services say a woman in her 40s was killed in the Tel Aviv area during Saturday's attacks.
On Saturday, it was also reported that more than 20 people had been injured in the Iranian attacks, which were carried out in response to Israeli and US attacks on the country.
