Israel has decided to buy additional fighter jets from the United States. According to the Times of Israel, the order will include two squadrons of F-35I and F-15IA fighter jets from Lockheed and Boeing, respectively. A squadron typically consists of eight to 12 aircraft.
No exact order amount has been specified, other than that it will be several billion shekels, according to the Times of Israel.
