Israel has carried out attacks on the ports in the Yemeni cities of Hodeida and as-Salif further north, controlled by the Houthi movement, confirms Israel.
"These ports are used to transfer weapons and are yet another example of the Houthi terrorist regime's systematic and cynical exploitation of civilian infrastructure to promote terrorist activities", states Israel's military in a statement.
The military further states that the attacks were preceded by warnings to the residents in the area.
