The attack comes the day after the Israeli foreign minister warned the Lebanese group against joining the war between Israel and Iran.
In a statement, the Israeli military writes that one of the navy's vessels struck a facility used by Hezbollah's command force Radwan. According to the military, the site was used to carry out "terror attacks against Israeli civilians".
The Israeli military also states, in a separate statement, that it has "eliminated" a Hezbollah fighter in southern Lebanon, despite a formal ceasefire between the parties since November 27, after months of intense fighting.
