The attack comes the day after the Israeli foreign minister warned the Lebanese group against joining the war between Israel and Iran.
In a statement, the Israeli military writes that one of the navy's vessels struck a facility used by Hezbollah's command force Radwan. According to the military, the site was used to carry out "terror attacks against Israeli civilians".
The Israeli military also states, in a separate statement, that it has "eliminated" a Hezbollah fighter in southern Lebanon, despite a formal ceasefire between the parties since November 27, after months of intense fighting. At the same time, Lebanon's health department reports that one person has been killed in an Israeli attack in the same village.
Hezbollah, which is closely allied with Iran, has been severely weakened after targeted Israeli attacks in September last year.
