Israel's military says it has struck a high-ranking commander from Iran-backed Hezbollah and another person described as a "terrorist" from the group in attacks on Beirut, Lebanon.
According to Lebanon's Health Ministry, five people have been killed and over 20 injured in Israeli attacks on the city. Just south of Beirut, two people were reported killed and three injured.
Earlier, AFP reported that three explosions were heard in Beirut and smoke was seen rising into the sky.
