According to the military, the arms depot belonging to the Iran-backed Shia movement Hezbollah was the target of the attacks.
"These arms depots were used by the terrorist organization to enable and carry out terrorist attacks against the state of Israel", it says in the Telegram post.
Despite the fact that Israel and Hezbollah entered into a ceasefire in November last year, Israel has continued to repeatedly bomb targets in Lebanon, mainly in the southern parts but also in the capital Beirut. Israel also has several posts remaining in southern Lebanon, in contravention of the agreement.
Last week, the Lebanese military stated that Israel had breached the ceasefire 4,500 times.
