A robot and a drone from Yemen were shot down by Israel's air defense on Friday.
"A report was received about shrapnel from the interception (of the robot) that fell in the Modi'in area in central Israel. The details are under review," the military said in a statement on the messaging app Telegram.
Several people are said to have been injured, but it is still unclear to what extent,
A few hours later, the military announced that they had also shot down a drone from Yemen.
The drone was caught before it entered Israel, the military added.
