The two Hamas members were commanders and deputy commanders within the movement's armed wing in northern Gaza, the Israeli newspaper Jerusalem Post reports.
The information came after confirmation that Mohammed Odeh, the newly appointed leader of the al-Qassam Brigades, had been killed in an Israeli attack on Tuesday.
The two commanders were not considered replacements for Odeh, who had in turn replaced Ezzedine al-Haddad, who was recently killed in an Israeli attack.
The information about the attack was announced by Israeli Army Radio.
