In a statement, the military wrote that it "carried out a comprehensive wave of attacks targeting the Iranian terrorist regime's infrastructure in the heart of Tehran."
At the same time, Iran's Revolutionary Guard said in a statement that several missile and drone attacks were carried out on Thursday, including against locations in Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Kuwait, state-controlled Fars reported.
According to the statement, attacks were also directed at a maintenance facility for the U.S. Patriot air defense system in Bahrain.
The war with Iran has now been going on for almost a month.
