The remains of 15 more Palestinians have been returned to Gaza, the territory's Hamas-run health ministry said, after Israel identified the body returned by Hamas on Tuesday as that of an Israeli hostage.
According to the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel on October 10 of this year, the remains of people taken hostage during Hamas' coordinated attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, have been gradually returned.
According to the current agreement, Israel must return 15 dead Palestinians for every dead Israeli handed over from Gaza.
