All foreign activists from the PR convoy have been deported from Israel. Israel will not allow any violations of the legal naval blockade of Gaza, an Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesperson said on Thursday.
According to Global Sumud Flotilla, one of the activists has Israeli citizenship and is in court in the city of Ashkelon in southern Israel.
The Global Sumud Flotilla is an activist effort to deliver emergency aid to occupied Gaza by sea. In early May, Israel stopped about 20 of the boats and detained activists.
