We are making enormous efforts to get them (hostages) back while preparing offensive measures, says the Israeli army chief Herzi Halevi after the latest exchange.
USA's President Donald Trump has previously suggested that Israel should resume fighting again if terrorist-stamped Hamas does not release all hostages before 12 o'clock on Saturday, reports Haaretz.
Hamas says in turn that the USA, which is mediating the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, must ensure that Israel adheres to the agreement to secure the release of the hostages.
According to the plans for the different phases of the ceasefire, Hamas is to release all remaining living hostages during the second phase, and during the third phase, the remains of dead hostages are to be handed over. Currently, the first phase is underway, where a total of 33 hostages are to be released. The details of the other phases have not yet been finalized.
