The announcement comes in a statement from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office.
Netanyahu has met with US Envoy Steve Witkoff and US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee on Monday. Witkoff landed in Israel on Monday morning, reportedly to attend the release of Edan Alexander from the terrorist-stamped Hamas captivity in Gaza.
Netanyahu has also called President Donald Trump to thank him for the help in getting Alexander released.
The talks between Israel and Hamas – which take place through mediators – broke down in connection with Israel's unilateral breach of the ceasefire on March 18. The new talks in Doha are seen as a possible restart.
The ongoing Gaza war broke out after Hamas's large-scale attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, when over 1,000 people were killed and hostages were taken.
