This is what the EU Commission's chief Ursula von der Leyen says to reporters at the G7 meeting in Kananaskis in Canada on Monday night.
I insisted and urged to let in the humanitarian aid that has not reached Gaza. He promised that it will happen and that it will be done, said von der Leyen.
She added that after the end of the G7 meeting, she will follow up and check that the promise is kept.
Israel introduced a total blockade on March 2 against the already heavily affected Gaza Strip, which meant that no food or other supplies were allowed in. It was not until eleven weeks later that the blockade was partially lifted.
The humanitarian aid operation is run by the criticized Israel- and US-supported group GHF. A large number of Palestinians have been shot dead and even more injured near the group's distribution sites.
Witnesses who have been on site have pointed out the Israeli military as responsible for the shooting in several media. The military has in turn admitted that they have fired "warning shots" against people on these occasions, but denied being behind the extensive deadly violence.
