Israel states in a statement from the military that they have killed another Iranian top military officer, Ali Shadmani.
Shadmani was recently upgraded to become major general and commander of the country's most important war operations center, Khatam al-Anbia, after the previous leader Gholamali Rashid was killed by Israel.
He is described as a wartime chief of staff for Iran's military and was killed according to Israel in an air strike against a command center "in the heart of Tehran" during the night to Tuesday.
