Islamic Association Urges Sweden Democrats to Apologize to Muslims

The Sweden Democrats should also apologize to other groups, says the Islamic Association's chairman Mahmoud Khalfi to Dagens ETC. Earlier in the week, the party presented its white paper on antisemitism in the party and party leader Jimmie Åkesson apologized to Sweden's Jews.

Mahmoud Khalfi tells the newspaper that he thinks it is selective to only apologize to one vulnerable group and that freedom of religion applies to everyone.

I demand a public apology to Sweden's Muslims for the repeated Islamophobic statements made by representatives of the Sweden Democrats.
