Alexander Isak's incredible goal-scoring form continued in the meeting with Manchester United. His 1–0 goal for Newcastle means that he is the first Swede to score goals in six consecutive matches in the Premier League, reports SVT Sport.
The previous record was held by Fredrik Ljungberg, who in 2002 scored goals in five consecutive matches for his Arsenal.
Isak has scored a total of eight goals in the last six matches. Just before Christmas, he scored a hat-trick against Ipswich.
The match against Manchester United on Monday ended 2–0 to Newcastle.
