Isak has not faced his former team Newcastle since his high-profile move to the Premier League rivals last year. In the first meeting last season he was still part of Newcastle; in the second, he was injured.
Isak is now both a Liverpool player and injury-free ahead of the start of the English league.
"I guess it's special when you face your former club at their stadium," Iraola said, according to the local newspaper Liverpool Echo, and said Isak is in good form:
He trains every day, had a good World Cup with Sweden and has good fitness and physique.
The meeting kicks off at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.
