Alexander Isak broke his leg in December. On March 26, Sweden plays Ukraine in the World Cup playoff - and the attacking star looks set to miss the match.

Alexander Isak was injured in the match against Tottenham in December last year.

During a press conference, Liverpool coach Arne Slot now says that the Swede is expected to be back in training by the end of next month at the earliest.

It will be somewhere around the international break, depending on whether he has any setbacks. He will be back with the group at the end of March or the beginning of April. That does not mean he is ready to start playing immediately, Slot says, according to Expressen.

The United States, Canada and Mexico are the host nations for the World Cup this summer.
