The former Kalmar player Isak Jansson, 23, leaves Rapid Wien.

The winger is clear for French Nice, confirms the club on its website.

"I know that the club has high ambitions, both in Ligue 1 and in Europe. It's up to me to do everything I can to help the team grow and make the supporters proud", says the 23-year-old in a statement.

Nice finished fourth in the table the past season.

Last season, Jansson made 9 goals and 6 assists in 33 appearances in Rapid Wien. The Swede has made three appearances in Sweden's U21 team.

Also the former U21 player Joe Mendes, 22, is on the move.

The former AIK player is clear for Turkish Samsunspor. Mendes is thus leaving Portuguese Braga, which he has belonged to since January 2023.

"Welcome Joe! A Samsunspor journey full of success awaits you", writes the Swede's new club on Instagram.

Mendes has written a five-year contract with the team, which the past season finished in third place in the Turkish top division.

Last season, the right-back was loaned out to Swiss Basel, where he made 1 goal and 1 assist in 29 matches.

Mendes has played 13 matches in the U21 national team and made one A national team match.
