The love drama "Mr. Nawashi" starring Tanya Holm Andersen and Esben Smed is already filming and will premiere next year.
Eklöf has previously directed "Holiday" and "Kalak", and series such as "Industry".
Eklöf is one of the initiators of Dogma 25, which was presented last year - 30 years after the first wave of dogma in Danish film. The other filmmakers behind the initiative are Swede Milad Alami and Danes Annika Berg, May el-Toukhy and Jesper Just.
It is now also clear that the film production company Zentropa, which was behind the first Dogma films, has entered into an agreement with Netflix regarding the new films - which means that they will be released on the streaming service after they are shown in theaters.
