The European Tour golf tournament is this weekend in Doonbeg in western Ireland, played on a course owned by Donald Trump. The US president will present the victory trophy on Sunday and also take the opportunity to watch some golf.
But his visit is not welcome in the country, according to an opinion poll published in the Irish Sunday Independent; 69 percent are critical of Trump's visit.
A large demonstration is planned in the capital, Dublin, and more than 4,000 police and security guards, including personnel from the US Secret Service, are guarding the visit.
