The leader of the terrorist sect IS in Iraq and Syria has been killed, according to Iraq's Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani.
Abdullah Maki Musleh al-Rifai, also known as Abu Khadija, was killed according to al-Sudani by Iraqi security forces together with the US-led coalition that is fighting the terrorist group.
al-Sudani describes him as "one of the most dangerous terrorists in Iraq and the world" in a post on X.
