In Iran, at least 56 museums and other historical sites have now been damaged, according to the Iranian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism. These include the Chehel Sotoon Palace in Isfahan and the Golestan Palace in Tehran, also known as the "Versailles of Iran," a former royal palace that is one of the capital’s oldest buildings.

The Guardian, which reviewed the video, writes that they do not appear to have been hit directly by the missiles but by shock waves - possibly also by shrapnel.

UNESCO has sent the coordinates of sensitive World Heritage sites to all warring parties, but it should raise its voice much more, says Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
