Ahmadi, along with eight other musicians, has been sentenced to flogging, a two-year travel ban, and a two-year ban on artistic activities, according to BBC Persian.
According to the court, they have "violated public decency by producing and publishing vulgar and immoral content in cyberspace."
Ahmadi was arrested in December 2024 after streaming a concert on YouTube in which she performed without the mandatory veil. She was released on bail after a couple of weeks.
In Iran, it is forbidden for women to show their hair in public or to sing or dance solo in front of an audience of both men and women.
