The Iranian Foreign Minister arrived in Islamabad again on Sunday, after leaving the Pakistani capital yesterday.

US President Donald Trump, who believes that Iran has not yet delivered a good enough offer, canceled his envoy's trip to Pakistan on Saturday.

"If they want, we can talk, but we're not sending people," Trump told Fox News on Sunday.

"They know what has to be in the agreement. It's very simple. They can't have nuclear weapons."

Iranian conditions

Araghchi returned to Pakistan to convey Iran's latest conditions, according to the Tasnim news agency, which is close to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

The conditions include a U.S. naval blockade, passage through the Strait of Hormuz, compensation for damage caused by the war and security guarantees against further attacks, Tasnim reports, citing sources.

“These negotiations have nothing to do with the nuclear issue,” Tasnim further writes.

Part of the Iranian delegation reportedly traveled back to Tehran on Saturday to consult and obtain possible mandates in the negotiations, according to state-controlled Irna.

Circling around

The Iranian foreign minister visited Oman on Sunday and has also called several colleagues – including the foreign ministers of France, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, according to his office.

After a brief stop in Pakistan on Sunday, Araghchi flew on to Moscow. There he is expected to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to the pro-regime Iranian news agency Isna. The Kremlin has confirmed that he is expected, according to Russia's Interfax.

Trump claims that the talks have been hampered by internal strife and confusion within the Iranian regime and has said that "nobody knows who's in charge."

The US president says he believes Iran is under pressure and that he hopes they now act smart.

"And if they're not smart, we still win," Trump told Fox News.
