An Indian citizen was reportedly killed in the attack in Kuwait, which also caused extensive damage to the power plant.
Earlier in the night, there were reports that the electricity supply in the Iranian capital had been disrupted in connection with attacks on the country. Tehran was reported to have suffered a power outage.
There have also been attacks on Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Ministry of Defense says its defenses intercepted five incoming missiles in the eastern part of the country overnight.
