"Iran has no basis to portray itself as a victim, let alone justify its threats with absurd references to the UN Charter. The regime in Tehran is directly complicit in Russia's aggression," Sybiha writes on X.
Iran accuses Ukraine of killing a crew member in the attack. The country warns Ukraine of “unforeseen” consequences, and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi writes on X that the attack “cannot be left unanswered.”
