Iran has previously stated that one pilot died and others were missing after a mission in Qatar in March.
Three Iranian pilots were captured alive after their Su-24 fighter jet crashed during the war, General Mohammad Bagherzadeh said, according to the Fars news agency.
"We categorically deny the claims circulating regarding the capture of Iranian pilots, and are surprised by these misleading claims while diplomatic efforts and attempts are ongoing," Qatar's Foreign Ministry wrote on X.
Last month, Iran returned the body of the dead pilot who participated in the attack on the al-Udeid air base in Doha in March. The air base is the largest US base in the region.
