In a post on Telegram, the state-run news agency said that Iran will target “all interests linked to economic assets operated by Elon Musk in West Asia (Middle East), including Arab countries and Israel.”
It is said to include, among other things, a regional ground station for the Starlink satellite network.
According to Fars, the threat is also a response to evidence that Musk is allowing both the American and Israeli militaries to use his company's infrastructure.
The move by Iran comes after US President Donald Trump warned of new attacks on Iran on his Truth Social platform last night.
