Iran claims that the US and Israel are using the American satellite network Starlink to carry out attacks in Iran.

The country is demanding that Norway, which is responsible for registering the satellite network with the UN's International Telecommunication Union (ITU), work to prevent the unauthorized use of Starlink in Iran, Iranian state media reports.

Starlink is banned in Iran, but around 50,000 Starlink terminals are believed to have been smuggled into the country.

Anti-regime activists in Iran have described the satellite network as crucial for showing the outside world what is happening in the country.
