A spokesman for the regime claims - just over six weeks after thousands of protesters were killed in Iran - that students “have the right to protest.”
The statement comes after students at universities in several major cities organized sit-ins and burned the flag of the Islamic Republic.
According to the regime's spokesperson, sacred symbols and the country's flag are examples of red lines that "must be protected."
