This was reported by the state-linked Iranian news agency Tasnim, citing the country's atomic energy agency, which said there was no indication of damage or radioactive leaks.
Iran has previously accused the US of attacking the facility.
On Wednesday, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) announced that a building had been destroyed by a projectile 350 meters from the Iranian Bushehr nuclear power plant on the coast.
"Even if there was no damage to the reactor itself or any personnel injured, any attack on or near nuclear power plants violates the seven indispensable pillars of nuclear safety and physical protection during armed conflict. Such attacks must never occur," IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi commented on X.
