"If someone steps forward in line with the enemy's wishes, we will no longer see them as a simple protester, but as an enemy," National Police Chief Ahmad-Reza Radan said on state-run IRIB television.
We will deal with them the same way we deal with enemies.
The statement adds that forces are ready with "fingers on the triggers" to defend the Islamic revolution.
Thousands of people were killed when authorities cracked down on mass protests in Iran earlier this year, and tens of thousands were arrested after protesters were branded terrorists and foreign collaborators.
