A German diplomatic source states that the three countries are in contact with Iran to schedule further talks next week, reports AFP.
The state-linked Iranian news agency Tasmin also has sources about new nuclear energy talks.
The principle of the negotiations has been agreed upon, but consultations continue on the time and place for the negotiations, says a source with insight, according to the state-linked Iranian news agency Tasnim.
Tasnim writes that the talks are intended to be held between the four countries' deputy foreign ministers.
Earlier in the week, reports emerged that the three European countries and the USA threatened Iran with sanctions if the country does not agree to a new nuclear energy talk.
Talks between the USA and Iran broke down after the twelve-day war between Israel and Iran in June, which ended after the USA intervened and bombed several Iranian nuclear facilities.
