Israel attacked on Monday afternoon Iran's state TV and radio company Iribs building in Tehran after having warned in advance of the attack, and urged residents in the vicinity to evacuate.
"The Iranian regime's authority for propaganda and incitement was attacked by IDF (Israel's military) after a comprehensive evacuation of the residents in the area", writes Katz in a post on X.
Iran's countermeasure
Iran has in turn urged the evacuation of buildings where two Israeli TV channels, N12 and N14, have their editorial offices.
"This order comes as a response to the Zionist enemy's hostile attack on the Islamic Republic of Iran's radio and TV service", reads a statement reported by Iran's state TV.
The death toll in Iran is rising after Israel's continued attacks, which began during the night against Friday with the motivation to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons.
Hospital hit
Iran's health department states that the number of dead now amounts to 224, and that an additional 1,277 are being cared for at hospitals for their injuries. The department says further that over 90 percent of the injured are civilians.
Among the dead in Iran are 45 women and children who were killed during Monday's Israeli attack, according to Iran's government. Among other things, a hospital in Kermanshah in the western part of the country was hit in an Israeli attack.
In total, 24 Israelis have been killed and more than 500 injured in Iran's rocket attacks against Israel since Friday, according to Israeli authorities.
