Since Israel and the United States' joint attack on Iran on Saturday, unrest has continued unabated in the Middle East.
Early on, questions were raised about what the implications would be for the World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico, which is just a few months away. Iran was previously scheduled to face New Zealand on June 15 and Belgium on June 21, both matches being played in Inglewood, California.
The international football federation, FIFA, has said it is closely following developments in the Middle East.
