In Be'er Sheva in southern Israel, five people were lightly injured in a rocket attack on Friday morning, reports the Israeli newspaper Haaretz. The city was also attacked on Thursday, when Iranian rockets hit the Soroka hospital.
Israel has urged residents in northern Iran to evacuate ahead of impending Israeli attacks on the area. The Israeli military says it has struck dozens of targets in the capital Tehran during the night. These attacks are said to have been directed at the "heart of Tehran" and a facility linked to Iran's nuclear energy program.
European foreign ministers from, among others, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom will meet Iran's counterpart Abbas Araghchi in Geneva, Switzerland on Friday to discuss Iran's nuclear energy program. The European ministers are calling for a de-escalation of the conflict and creating conditions for Iran and the USA to return to the negotiating table.
On Thursday, US President Donald Trump stated that he will "within two weeks" make a decision on whether the US will attack Iran or not. And the UK's Foreign Minister David Lammy met with high-ranking officials in Washington on Thursday and said after that "there is a window within the next two weeks to achieve a diplomatic solution."
