The man was reportedly convicted of "drawing weapons and spreading fear and terror, creating widespread insecurity, violating people's physical integrity and threatening national security."
It is not clear which country the man is a citizen of.
Since July, Iran has executed four other people connected to the same case, and the number of executions in the country has increased since the war against Israel and the United States began at the end of February.
Last year, 1,639 people were executed in Iran.
