The man, Mohammad-Amin Mahdavi Shayesteh, was hanged early on Monday, announces Iran's judiciary.

The execution takes place just one day after another man, Majid Mosayebi, was hanged. He had been sentenced for trying to leave "sensitive information" to Israel's intelligence service Mossad.

The executions take place at the same time as the war between the two countries enters its eleventh day. Mossad is believed to have played an important role in the Israeli attack, the operation is said to have been prepared for years and included, among other things, that drones with explosives were smuggled into Iran.

Iran has arrested several people suspected of spying for Israel since the country attacked Iran on the night of Friday, June 13.
