Israel committed a "heinous crime" when it killed Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh earlier this year, writes Iran's UN ambassador Amir Saeid Iravani in a letter to UN chief António Guterres.
"This shameless admission marks the first time the Israeli regime has openly acknowledged its responsibility for this heinous crime", writes the Iranian diplomat.
