Iran's airspace remains closed on Thursday morning, local time.

After first issuing a Notam (Notice to Airmen) stating that the airspace would be closed for two hours overnight, Iranian authorities have still not opened it to commercial flights, several international media outlets report.

The decision comes after US President Donald Trump reportedly considered an attack on Iran.

It is unclear when the airspace can be opened. Several major airlines have already decided not to fly in Iranian airspace.
