For the first time since the outbreak of the war and the incidents that took place in the Persian Gulf, we have had a constructive exchange of views with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, says Masoud Pezeshkian.
The statement comes a day after Pezeshkian's meeting with Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled in connection with the BRICS summit in India.
It was decided that we should turn around, look to the future and build it together, says Pezeshkian.
It was after the US and Israel launched their war against Iran in February that the conflict quickly spread across the Middle East. Iran responded with attacks on US allies in the region, including the United Arab Emirates.
In August, Abu Dhabi announced that it was halting all trade with Iran.
