"We have reached results that have been accepted by both sides," a spokesman for the Guard told the Iranian news agency Tasnim.
The agreement is said to establish how shipping in the strait will be allocated, as well as the revenues.
The spokesman also accuses the US of disrupting negotiations with Oman, Al Jazeera reports. Last week, US President Donald Trump threatened to “bomb the shit out of” Oman if the country stood in the way of a deal on the Strait of Hormuz.
