The talks are expected to take place in the Saudi capital Riyadh, according to a source. It is not clear when they will take place, but they will be held completely separate from the ongoing negotiations between Iran and the United States.
Alongside these plans, Qatar's Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani is in Oman to prepare talks between Iran, Oman and several neighboring countries on how maritime traffic through the sensitive Strait of Hormuz should continue in the future, another source told AFP.
