Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is trying to dispel rumors that Iran's new leader Mojtaba Khamenei, who has not been seen since he was appointed, is seriously injured or even dead.
"There are no problems with the new supreme leader. The system works," he says in an interview with MS NOW.
"Everything is under control."
US President Donald Trump has questioned whether Mojtaba Khamenei is alive and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has said he is "injured and likely disfigured."
Mojtaba Khamenei is the son of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was killed at the outbreak of war, but Mojtaba has not been seen and has only issued a written statement.
